How the soft cap works
Every paid tier has a 20% buffer above its monthly-cloud-spend threshold.
If your monitored spend exceeds the buffer for two consecutive months, you'll get an
upgrade prompt. We never apply a surprise charge - you choose whether to upgrade.
Add-ons (orthogonal to tiers)
Extra cloud account beyond plan limit - £29/account/month. For orgs
with 10+ AWS accounts at lower tiers.
Extended retention - £49/month for each additional year of data history
beyond the tier default (works out to £588/year per extra year).
Custom integrations - POA, speak with your account manager. Workday
financial system, custom CRM revenue ingestion, etc.
What we deliberately don't do
No percent-of-cloud-spend pricing. Creates a "tax on growth" - your
bill scales with your cloud bill. We use tiered flat pricing so a growing customer isn't
punished for growing.
No percent-of-savings pricing. Incompatible with read-only
architecture; we don't pretend to "save" you anything by writing to your cloud. We
surface what you can save; the action is yours.
No per-seat pricing. FinOps is a team sport. Standard and Enterprise
come with unlimited users; Instant is a single-user evaluation.
Common questions
How is "monitored cloud spend" measured? Trailing 30-day sum across all
connected cloud providers. Easy to verify on your own bills.
What if I'm on-prem only? We use a workload-count anchor: up to 5
workloads Instant, up to 100 Standard, more than 100 Enterprise. Repatriation Analyzer
and On-prem TCO are the surfaces you'll use.
Can I switch between monthly and annual? Yes. Switch up at any time;
switch down at the end of your current term.
Is there a free trial of paid tiers? The Free tier is a 1-month
evaluation. You can connect a cloud, see real data on your account, and upgrade any time
during the window when you need the features above the Free line. At the end of the
month you either upgrade to a paid tier to keep your account, or your account and all
associated data are deleted. We do not retain a read-only archive — if you need to
revisit your data, export it before the trial ends.
